Let’s go back in time a little bit !because I really want to talk to you about my experience at Photo Throwdown !!!
I already told you how nervous I was ! and well both days were the same :P But I looooved this experience ! I had so much fun ! Learned a lot during all this process, and not just technical stuff about lighting a beer lol, no I mostly learned a lot about myself, about how to manage my stress, and the last challenge put my creativity to the challenge !!! I mean, after hearing what the challenge was, I had just the time to go from the second floor to the ground floor (I took the elevator, take more time :P) to think of something + think of my lighting ! Then op I had to buy some stuff and make it happen !!! It was crazy !!! and the refocus, ahahah totally made my insane ! and looking back at it, when you have one idea, you have to stick to it ! the white chair would have been great for a summer feeling, but not with my beer on it, would have been better if my beer was on small table just next to it … I mean what was I thinking !!! Not much I think ahahah… plus If I had the time to think a little bit more, yes I would certainly have done things differently, and put more details into my shots, like making the glasses look fresh with some water drops on it … and making the beer foam just dribble a little bit on the side … would have been great !!! and knowing me, I would have put some action in it, like a biiig cheers, 2 glasses toasting, making the beer move more… I don’t know, just 30 to 50 min just make your head think of sooo much thing ! but hey the challenge was to think quickly under pressure, and I’m ok with what I have done, plus, this showed me once again how important it is to prepare yourself before a shoot, and how important my 15min of thinking and reflexion just before an actual shooting are important to me! makes me feel appease, and ready to create ! For the technical part of this challenge, well it made me realise that I know my lights, I’m pretty proud of this, cause now I know I can focus on my creativity more more moooore !

Revenons un peu en arrière, car j’aimerais vous parler de mon expérience lors du tournage de Photo Throwdown !!!
Je vous ai déjà parlé dans un ancien poste de ma nervosité et de mon anxiété! et bien j’ai ressenti ces deux choses les deux jours de tournage xP Mais malgré tout, j’ai vraiment aimé cette expérience! Je me suis énormément amusée! J’ai beaucoup appris au cours de tout le processus, et non pas juste au niveau technique d’éclairage de bière lol, non, j’ai surtout beaucoup appris sur moi-même, sur la façon de gérer mon stress, et, disons-le, le dernier défi m’a permis de mettre ma créativité au challenge !!! En effet, après avoir entendu ce qu’était le défi, j’avais juste le temps de passer du deuxième étage au rez-de-chaussée (j’ai pris l'ascenseur, ça prend plus de temps: P) pour penser à quelque chose + penser à mon éclairage! Et op go magasinage et création !!! C’était fou !!! et le recentrage, ahahah ça m’a totalement désorientée ! Maintenant, en regardant un peu en arrière, je me dis que lorsqu’on commence une idée il faut aller jusqu’au bout !! La chaise blanche aurait été super, mais pas avec une bière sur elle... Cela aurait été mieux si la bière se trouvait sur une table basse, proche de cette chaise qui fait très été ! À quoi je pensais ??!! Mouais, j’avoue, je ne pensais, pas beaucoup à ce moment-là :P... Si c’était à refaire, avec plus de temps et de réflexion, j'aurais certainement fait les choses différemment, j’aurais ajouté plus de détails, comme rendre les verres « frais » avec une vaporisation de gouttelettes d'eau, j’aurai fait dégouliner un peu de mousse de bière sur le coté du verre, ça aurait été super !!! et me connaissant, j’aurais voulu une image beaucoup plus dynamique ! comme un bon “tchin” entre deux verres de bière, où l’on voit le liquide bouger comme des vagues… il suffit de 30 à 50 min pour déborder d’imagination !! mais le défi était de réfléchir vite ! et cela m'a montré une fois de plus combien il est important de se préparer avant un photoshoot, ainsi que l'importance de mes 15min de réflexion juste avant une réelle séance ! souvent ce 15 min de calme, m’apaise, et m’aide à me recentrer et me sentir prête à créer! Pour la partie technique de ce défi, cela m'a fait réaliser à quel point je connais mes lumières, je suis assez fière de cela, fais que maintenant je sais que je peux me concentrer uniquement sur ma créativité! (enfin, environs).

What was amazing about photo-throwdown, is that it didn’t stop to a weekend full of excitement, meeting and stress ! it continue with the episodes coming up on the web ! so weird to see yourself on the web ! But I love that, and well I know now that I really have to improve my english ! Also, it was really nice seeing everybody reactions and everyone was so nice with me !!! This feeling was awesome ! The recognition from everyone I know, but also from people I have never really meet but admire a lot ! Felt great ! and then came the day of the voting part !!! This was crazy insane !!! I mean crazier than I imagined it would be !!! everybody shared this challenge on their Facebook, twiter, by mails, phone calls it was insane !!! My family shared it everyday ! my friends even call their friends to votes ! my coworkers asked their family it was crazy ! but the craziest part was to come, when there was only 3 hours left to vote, I think I’ll remember it forever ! I received a call telling me that I was back in the game ! yeah at that time I thought I lost, I was like 70 votes behind, all my family and friends in France went to bed, so I decided to go dining with my friend, I mean I didn’t imagine that I would be able to get 70 votes and more on one night... and there it is! so I went back home and contacted once again everyone I knew who was still awake !!! all my friends here in Montreal, but also in Japan and in the US telling them to share like crazy one last time cause this could make a difference !!! and it did !!! everyone was there, everybody was sending me their supports… and doing their best by sharing / calling their friends !!! it was Insane !!! Really Insane ! and with a few votes I won !!! YES I WON !!!
I was so Happy ! And all of that happiness is thanks to all my friends, family, coworkers who believed in me and shows me how much they support what I do, and this is irreplaceable !!! So Everyone : THANK YOU !!! I love you all So much !

Le plus fou reste à venir, après un week-end plein d'excitation, de rencontre et de stress, est arrivé le moment de la mise en ligne des vidéos!. C’est tellement étrange de se voir en vidéo ! Mais surtout, ce qui m’a marquée fut la réaction du monde ! Tout le monde m’a fait sentir leur soutien et leur fierté !!! C’était incroyable !! Puis, arriva le jour du deuxième épisode. Celui où les gens étaient appelés à voter… c’était fou ! c’était malade ! Intense !!! tout le monde c'est mis à partager ce défi sur leur compte Facebook, Twiter, par mails, appels téléphoniques!!! Ma famille a partagé tous les jours! mes amis ont contacté leurs amis pour les inciter à voter! mes collègues ont demandé à leur famille, c’était incroyable! mais le plus délirant reste à venir, juste 3h avant que le vote ce termine, j’ai reçu un appel me disant que j’étais de retour dans le jeu! ouais à ce moment-là, j’avoue, je pensais avoir perdu, j’étais à 70 votes de mon adversaire… je ne m’imaginais pas le rattraper ! alors j’ai décidé d'aller dîner avec mon amie… et pourtant !!! je suis donc rentrée chez moi, et là, j’ai contacté une fois de plus tout le monde que je connaissais et qui je savais été encore réveillé :P !!! tous mes amis ici à Montréal, mais aussi au Japon et aux États-Unis en leur disant de partager une dernière fois ce challenge ! car leur partage pouvait faire une différence !!!Et tout le monde était là, tout le monde m’envoyait des messages de soutien !!! c’était fou ! Vraiment malade! et c’est avec quelques votes de plus que j’ai gagné !!! OUIIII <3
Ce phénomène m’a rendue tellement heureuse, heureuse de voir à quel point tellement de personnes croient en moi, en ce que je fais et surtout me montre leur soutien !!! c’est pour moi un souvenir irremplaçable !!!! Donc à tous : MERCI !!! Je VOUS AIME !!! <3
All in all, more than a wonderful meeting, and a big reflection on myself, this experience gave me courage and a huge and irreplaceable motivation !!! what one needs often when we decided to work in this domain!

Au final plus qu’une belle rencontre, et une réflexion sur moi, cette expérience m’aura apporté un courage et une motivation énorme et irremplaçable !!! Ce dont on a souvent besoin lorsque l’on décide de travailler dans ce milieu !
